1. Agreement and eligibility
By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using Unsway, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms for you. Unsway is not directed to children under 13.
2. What Unsway provides
Unsway is a personal focus tool that lets you create focus modes, select distracting apps or websites, start timed sessions, and schedule boundaries using capabilities provided by your operating system.
You remain responsible for your device, settings, schedules, and decisions. Unsway is not a medical treatment, emergency service, safety system, parental surveillance service, or substitute for professional advice. Do not rely on it where access to an app, website, notification, or communication may be necessary for health, safety, work, travel, or an emergency.
System restrictions, app store rules, device compatibility, permissions, operating-system updates, battery state, and connectivity may affect availability or enforcement. We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, but we will respect any rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.
3. Permission and device responsibility
Some features require Screen Time, Family Controls, Device Activity, notification, accessibility, usage access, or similar system permissions. You choose whether to grant them and may revoke them through device settings. Revoking a required permission can prevent blocking or schedules from working.
You agree to use Unsway only on devices you own or are authorized to control, and only in compliance with applicable law and platform rules. Before removing the app, changing time zones, or making major system changes, stop active focus sessions and review scheduled restrictions.
4. Subscriptions, trials, and purchases
Unsway may offer free and paid functionality. The paywall shown before purchase identifies the subscription period, price, included features, and any introductory trial available to your store account.
- Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew for the same period unless canceled through your store account before the renewal deadline shown by the store.
- Your store account may be charged shortly before the current period ends.
- If a free trial is offered, unused trial time may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where permitted by the store.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple or Google account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds and billing disputes are handled under the rules of the store that processed the transaction.
Prices may vary by country, currency, taxes, and store. Any price change will be presented or notified as required by the applicable platform and law.
5. Acceptable use
You may not:
- use Unsway to monitor or control another person without lawful authority and their consent where required;
- circumvent security, interfere with the service, probe vulnerabilities, or misuse system permissions;
- reverse engineer, copy, resell, sublicense, or distribute the service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- use the service for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purposes; or
- violate Apple, Google, or another platform provider's applicable terms.
We may limit or end access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, third parties, or legal compliance.
6. Ownership and feedback
Unsway, including its software, design, text, graphics, trademarks, and other content, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property law. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on supported devices for its intended purpose.
If you voluntarily provide feedback, you allow us to use it to improve Unsway without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.
7. Third-party services
Unsway relies on operating-system frameworks, app stores, analytics providers, and subscription infrastructure. Their own terms and policies may apply. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control, but we select providers to support the service and describe relevant data handling in our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unsway is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, quiet enjoyment, and non-infringement. We do not promise that blocking will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or impossible to bypass.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unsway and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, opportunities, goodwill, or access arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Unsway during the 12 months before the claim or USD 50.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited in your jurisdiction.
9. Changes, termination, and governing terms
We may update these Terms when the service or law changes. Material updates will be posted with a new effective date and additional notice where required. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
You may stop using Unsway at any time. Subscription cancellation is handled separately through your app store. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and dispute terms—will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where the Unsway developer is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules and without depriving you of mandatory protections available in your country of residence. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear disputes. Before filing a claim, please contact us and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve it informally.
